I love the pattern and I left a comment on another site where it was featured that I didn’t get the point since it wouldn’t keep the bottle or can cold by itself. HOWEVER, I was thinking that a few extra chain stitches could be added so that the football cozy fits OVER the insultated sleeve cozy ! ! !

I love cozies, but not necessarily for beer cans. My son and his family are Cristians and love football. I think they would all love these cozies, so I really have my work cut out for me, he has a very large family

I like cozies. I’ve made them and used them at work for my (paper) drink cups which makes a good identifier. Everyone knows which drink is mine among all the look alike paper cups, which also condensates in warm surroundings. The football design is really cute and I’m teaching my 18 month old grandson to watch football. I’m also teaching him to cheer for our team. “GO BEARS!” (even though we live in Bronco territory – I’m from Bear country).

I was directed to your site through a link posted on allfreecrochet.com – while I know every crochet pattern was designed by someone, one doesn’t always find a link to the creator. When I find a pattern I like and have all the information required to contact that person, I like to write a thank you note, just to let the person knows someone “out there” appreciates their effort. I don’t really have a choice in the matter; my Dear Old Sainted Mother was rather a stickler on things like thank you notes and promised me a good old fashion haunting should I ever fail. I tend to believe her because as far as I know she only ever lied to me once and that when I was about 3 years old. She told me the fried green tomatoes she put on my plate was meat with seeds.
