Safety Follow-Up
Just another day at the office for the safety cones. They are having fun, especially the one on the far left. (These are the cones of the woman I mentioned in the previous post; she works in construction management).
I am loving all the little stories in the comments and on blogs that linked back, especially this one: “These are so cute! My bf has a habit of walking through/on my crafting projects when I leave them on the floor. I’m making a set of these guys and maybe they’ll protect my projects.” And I also like that they are the subject of a particular blog post entitled, “She crocheted WHAT?” I’ll take that as a compliment. =)

I love the stories and the title! It’s so nice to hear follow-ups like these! I posted them in The Daily DIY as well and I found myself clicking over all day just to see them cheerfully brightening up my webpage! Great job!

Oh, please definitely DO take that as a compliment! I thought these were so awesome I went out and bought the supplies so I can get at them as soon as possible. I loved finding this and can’t wait to give them to my friends.

Glad you liked it, Alicia–and I’ll post pics when I get some done. I’ve got a custom knitting job going right now but the cones are next, if I can make myself wait that long.

I’m not sure if I added in the other post that I don’t actually KNOW how to crochet yet, but I can knit and used to be able to crochet, so this would be the best reason I can think of to pick up a hook again. I still haven’t had time–my brother’s adding to his family again so there will be baby knitting to do before I can get to it.
I did pass the URL on to a friend who already knows how to crochet so she can make some for our convention friends. She did give me the first one tho 🙂
