Crochet Halloween 2008
Last year around this time is when my Etsy took off with the above Halloween toys: Candy Corn, Ghost and Pumpkin. I was flabbergasted. Sure, I thought they were cute, but I had no idea they would receive so much attention (and so many buyers). Patterns and the already-made versions are available in my Etsy shop.
In addition to the smiley Halloween guys, I also have some more classically looking gourds that will blend right in with the real thing. I just went to farmer’s market this past weekend to buy my first gourds and Indian corn for the mantle.
To get back to your sillier side or if you’ve got some kiddies at home, candy corn and ghost puppets!
Hopefully, by the end of the week, I will have NEW Halloween patterns that are being cooked up in my head as I write, but for now, check out this post for a FREE pattern for the Indian corn seen below.

These are the cutest ever. We’re having a pumpkin party at work & I used your pictures for the e-mail invite (don’t worry- small staff of 14 librarians- we would never copyright infringe you!) – I just knew everyone would ooooh & awe over your handiwork. & it’s much cuter than stock pumpkin images.
I just love your goodies. I can’t crochet/knit or sew without crying in frustration- my admiration is BIG!

I’ve never given this a try, but I think it’s about time I do.
