Hey, look, Pirate Safety Cone! Why not, right?

A few things of note, in bullet form:

-some old favorite freebies for the crocheters out there, in case you missed ’em: Indian corn and a ridiculously cute pumpkin, the pattern for which can now be found here on FaveCrafts.

-I was chosen to be part of pingg’s Designer Series for Brooklyn’s Best–check out that Prospect Park love. (pingg is a MUCH cooler alternative to evite).

-Last weekend was the opening of the Plush You! show in Seattle. I didn’t attend, BUT, I get to experience it virtually through Bluebottle Art Gallery’s Flickr set and so can you. See if you can spot my little crochet babies amidst all those plush pals! They look pretty happy to me. đŸ™‚

-In addition to the Kata Golda book launch, STC Craft has some more tricks up their handmade sleeves: 20 FREE patterns for holiday crafting, excerpted from many of their fine publications. (I want to make those striped socks!)

-Lastly, will you be in Brooklyn this coming weekend? I will! Brooklyn Based is curating a corner at the Brooklyn Flea, in Fort Greene on Saturday and Dumbo on Sunday. I will be hawking some of my crafty goodies on Saturday–come visit! Looks like there will be chili and muffins nearby to get us through the brisk weather (high of 48 that day!).

Sad Panda is this New York thing…” He met Snow-Proof Safety Cone last weekend, and lovingly cuddled him.
